Acute inpatient admission under one of our physicians can be arranged by your general practitioner (GP). Your GP will need to contact our office, during business hours, to speak with our on-call Geriatrician (for Geriatric patients only) to confirm acceptance of your admission. Alternatively, if it is after hours, they may ask you to present to St. Vincent’s Emergency Department. Upon presentation, the Emergency Department doctors may contact our on-call geriatrician (for Geriatric patients only), available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to request care for you as an inpatient.

If you have been admitted to Toowoomba Hospital and wish to be transferred to a Toowoomba Private hospital, your current medical team can request transfer by contacting our office, during business hours.
