Dr Linson John Alapatt is a Geriatrician and General Physician, specialising in Geriatrics and Rehabilitation. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2018 having completed Geriatric training at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Gold Coast University hospitals. Dr Alapatt undertook his primary medical training in India and has worked in the UK before relocating to Australia in 2007.  His passion is to deliver holistic care for elderly patients working together with their General Practitioners, family and community care providers through a multidisciplinary health care approach.

Dr Alapatt is an accredited supervisor for the RACP and is involved in registrar training at multiple levels. In addition, he is an active member of ANZSGM, presenting at their Annual Scientific Meetings and a facilitator for RACP for Supervisor’s professional development workshops. He is also a Senior lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Queensland, being involved with medical student teaching and examinations. 

Practice Locations

Dr Linson Alapatt provides comprehensive outpatient geriatric services at Infinity Specialists, Level 2 of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Dr Alapatt also holds permanent positions at Toowoomba Hospital and Ipswich Hospitals.

Consultations are also provided to Residential Aged Care facilities both in-person and via Telehealth within Toowoomba and surrounding areas.
