Dr Kenneth Ng is a Geriatrician who specialises in a diverse range of geriatric syndromes.

Dr Ng is originally from a small town called Seremban in Malaysia. Dr Ng graduated with a dual degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom in 2006. He worked in the UK as a junior doctor for a couple of years, prior to moving to Australia to be closer to his family. He commenced working in far North Queensland upon his arrival to Australia and undertook his basic physician training in Townsville. He subsequently moved to the Sunshine Coast and then to Toowoomba for completion of advanced training in Geriatric Medicine. He was admitted to the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with specialisation in Adult Medicine, in Australia 2019. Dr Ng has undertaken literature reviews in pharmacological treatments in orthostatic hypotension and Creutzfeld Jakob Disease.

Dr Kenneth Ng is committed to providing comprehensive holistic, evidence-based care to the aging population of Toowoomba and surrounding regions. He endeavours to provide the highest level of care to improve the quality of life and health of persons with geriatric care needs.

Dr Ng has a preference for living in regional Queensland and enjoys hiking, birdwatching and going to the gym.

Practice Locations

Dr Kenneth Ng provides comprehensive geriatric services to acute medical inpatients and is a participant of the Geriatric / Stroke On-Call Roster, at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Dr Ng’s private consulting rooms are located at Infinity Specialists, Level 2 of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Dr Ng provides regular community care, including in-home visits and consultations at Residential Aged Care facilities. Dr Ng delivers  regular community care in Toowoomba, Crows Nest, Warwick and Clifton.

Areas of Interest

Dr Ng has a special interest in the management of acute geriatric inpatients, Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, as well as peri-operative medicine. Along with various other geriatric syndromes, he is particularly interested in polypharmacy, falls management and prevention and is also skilled in the management and diagnosis of cognitive problems in the aging population.

Dr Ng also delivers sub-acute care to stroke patients in the new stroke unit at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.
