Dr Danusha De Alwis is a visiting medical specialist physician and Geriatrician. 

Dr Danusha De Alwis is a graduate at University College of Dublin. She completed her internship at Beaumont Hospital in Ireland before migrating to Australia in 2010. 

Dr Danusha De Alwis completed her specialist training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Mater Brisbane, and Toowoomba General hospital.  She became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2019.

Dr De Alwis is a permanent employee at Ipswich Hospital and works across the geriatric department covering for residential aged care service, Hospital in the Home and Orthogeriatric unit. 

Practice Locations

Dr Danusha De Alwis provides comprehensive outpatient geriatric services and is a participant of the Geriatric On-Call Roster, at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Dr De Alwis’s private consulting rooms are located at Infinity Specialists, Level 2 of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Dr De Alwis also provides regular nursing home care to the residents of Laidley.
