Dr Anna Taylor is a Geriatrician who specialises in a diverse range of geriatric syndromes.

Dr Taylor graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2012. She undertook her first experience of regional healthcare as a medical student at the Rural Clinical School in Toowoomba. As a resident doctor, she was based at Toowoomba Hospital and underwent specialist training at Princess Alexandra, Logan, Toowoomba and Redcliffe Hospitals. She was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with specialisation in Adult Medicine, in 2019.

Dr Taylor is dedicated to delivering excellent geriatric medical care to the older members of the Darling Downs community and their families. She is also interested in how innovation in hospital and health systems can be harnessed to meet the needs of complex frail elderly patients.

Practice Locations

Dr Anna Taylor provides comprehensive geriatric services to acute medical inpatients and is a participant of the Geriatric / Stroke On-Call Roster, at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Dr Taylor’s private consulting rooms are located at Infinity Specialists, Level 2 of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Dr Taylor provides regular community care (including in-home visits and consultations at Residential Aged Care facilities) and welcomes referrals for patients of Toowoomba and surrounding regions.

Areas of Interest

Dr Anna Taylor’s professional interests are in memory clinic and longitudinal care of people with dementia, complex geriatric syndromes, movement disorders, stroke and community and nursing home care.

Outside of medicine, Dr Taylor enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and pets.
